Jesse Edwin Davis II

Painter, father of Jesse ‘Ed’ Davis Born Jul. 9, 1921, Anadarko, Caddo County, Oklahoma, USA Died: Jan. 28, 1977, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, USA Davis spent most of his life in Oklahoma City. He was a veteran of World War II and worked at Tinker Air Force Base for over 25 years. e was well known for his 'true Indian' painting style and has had several public exhibitions of his works. He was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma where he received his bachelor's degree in 1949.
