According to the FAQ of long time defunct Influx website, this alias was taken by Shadow after the Entropy's track part called "Back To Back Breaks". At about 10 minutes into the mix we can hear "Can I get a level on groove robber number 1? Now number 2". The groove robbers are not real people but in fact his turntables.
