Born February 27th, 1962 in Moscow, USSR. Yakovlev was part of several rock/techno/synth-pop groups. He is mostly known as the leader of the Soviet techno-pop group Биоконструктор. After the seperation of Biokonstruktor in 1990, Yakovlev founded the synth-pop group БИО. He is also known as the founder of the label Electric Records.
