American guitarist and singer. Born December 30, 1952 in New York, NY, USA. Died January 27, 2022 ibid. Mann studied with gospel artist Rev. Gary Davis, then at the Juilliard School of Music, and with jazz pianist Lennie Tristano. He is the author of numerous instructional books and videos.
