Jesús Monge Ramírez (November 9, 1910, Morelia - August 9, 1964, Mexico City) was a Mexican composer, author of numerous boleros, internationally known for his song Mexico Lindo Y Querido. He began his musical career competing against artists such as Agustín Lara and Alfonso Esparza Oteo in a waltz competition. Later he was a radio artist at XEQ, XEW and XEB. His compositions led him to make friends with Lucha Reyes, who was a great interpreter of his songs, and the bullfighter Manolete, a great admirer. His song The Flower Fair was the subject of a Disney film that was never released due to copyright issues. He was a founding partner of the Society of Authors and Composers of Music of Mexico, together with Gonzalo Curiel, Alfonso Esparza Oteo, Tata Nacho and others.
