Edi Chin (3 November 1948 – 25 June 2023), born in Singapore.
During the early years of his career, Edi became a member of the skiffle group called the Pigsty Hill Light Orchestra, alongside his fellow musician Robert Greenfield. Later, in 1976, fate brought Chin together with Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart, resulting in the formation of The Tourists. Unfortunately, the band disbanded in 1980, leading Chin and Coombes to embark on a new musical venture called Acid Drops. However, this project did not achieve significant success.
Edi Chin, passed away at his home in New Orleans in 2023.
