Simion is the deep house alias of German producer and DJ Michael Kronenberger, best known as one half of the house music duo Milk & Sugar. The moniker was introduced as part of a new artistic direction tied to the launch of the deep house label Hedonism Music, which Kronenberger co-founded with Steffen Harning through their company Future Music Produktions- und Verlags GmbH.
The Simion project allowed Kronenberger to explore a deeper, more underground club sound, distinct from the more mainstream style of Milk & Sugar Recordings. As Simion, he performed DJ sets in signature attire—hoodie and visor shades—to embody the label's mysterious and immersive club aesthetic. The majority of Simion’s releases were produced in the Milk & Sugar studio, with Kronenberger and Harning behind the music and concept.
