Fiorella Terenzi

Astrophysicist, author and recording artist Dr. Fiorella Terenzi received her doctorate in physics from the University of Milan. She studied opera and composition at Conservatory G. Verdi, Corsi Serali, and taught mathematics and physics at Liceo Scientifico, Milan. While conducting research at the Computer Audio Research Laboratory at the University of California at San Diego, she developed techniques to convert radio waves from galaxies into sound. These recordings were released by Island Records in 1991 on a CD entitled "Music from the Galaxies."
