American drummer, tabla player and composer, born in 1977 in Tenafly. Dan Weiss plays as a sideman with different groups and leads his own trio with Thomas Morgan on bass and Jacob Sacks on piano. He also co-leads a tabla/drumset project with guitarist Miles Okazaki and a drumset duo with drummer Ari Hoenig. He is a former member of the doom metal band, Bloody Panda.
