Coro del Teatro Comunale di Firenze

Chorus based at the Teatro Comunale di Firenze. Almost, but not quite, an alias of the Coro Del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino - the Maggio performers would be assembled for the May Festival in Florence (The Maggio Musicale Fiorentino), and the Comunale Chorus was more permanent. The Maggio chorus seems to have been formed later, as some releases feature the Comunale Chorus alongside the Maggio orchestra. Over the years, however, the Maggio chorus has taken more and more permanence, and now that the building itself has been decommissioned, the Comunale Choir seems to have vanished as a separate entity.
