Rachel Smith

Sound engineer, recording producer and editor of classical releases. She read Music at Cambridge University then became producer and editor at Meridian Records. Two years later she left to take up a post at KOCH International UK, and after working as Promotions Assistant for a year was promoted to Classical Manager, responsible for all aspects of marketing and promotion of twelve distributed labels. Two years later she was offered the post of Producer and Editor at Chandos Records, where she remained for eight years, before forming her own production company, Ophelia Productions, in January 2006.
