British viola player. He studied music at the and then at the . While studying at Goldsmith's, he auditioned for and landed a Principal Viola role in Jyväskylä Sinfonia. In 1990, he returned to the UK and joined the BBC Philharmonic. In December 1991, he was appointed Sub-Principal Viola in the BBC Symphony Orchestra.
