English-Australian drummer, born August 16, 1939 in Liverpool, England, passed away February 18, 2025 in Perth, Australia. Co-founder and drummer of the Easybeats. Snowy has been claimed to be the member who named the band "the Easybeats". As Snowy was the eldest member he changed his birth year to 1945 to seem younger as the other members were born in 1946/1947 respectively. When he died many reports stated that Snowy passed at age 79 as a result of his factual birth year (1939) never being widely published. Snowy left the Easybeats in the spring of 1967, as he was unhappy at the amount of time he had to spend away from his wife and young children, and was replaced by Tony Cahill. He became a successful builder and ran a rehearsal studio in the Perth suburb Jandakot, Western Australia. He participated in the Easybeats 1986 reunion.
