Valeria Lynch

Argentine singer, songwriter, actress and businesswoman, born January 7, 1952 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, based in Uruguay. At the age of 14 she defined hes vocation and began studying singing with Clara Calvo, and dramatic art with Dante Gilardoni. Romay (owner of Channel 9) was the one who discovered her as a great talent and suggested her to use a pseudonym. In 1977 he released his first album, called Valeria Lynch, . Her debut as a pop ballad singer was on the Michelangelo stage in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of San Telmo. During the eighties, Valeria Lynch's success expanded throughout Latin America. Her songs reached the United States, Latin America, Spain, Holland, Japan, Romania, Italy and the former Soviet Union.
