May 24, 1934 Guaratinguetá, Brazil – September 8, 1988 Roma, Italy. Alias mostly used by Brazilian born percussionist on Italian releases of the 1970s. Often just credited as Mandrake. Pelé's cousin, he collaborated for years with Italian musicians, singers and orchestra directors: among others, Toni Esposito, Perigeo, Irio De Paula, Ornella Vanoni, Francesco Guccini and Gianni Ferrio. Among his records to remember a collectible rarity: Sombossa from 1975. He collaborated from 1983 until his death with the Argentine singer Liliana Gimenez.
