Claire Sweeney

British actress, b. 17/04/71, Liverpool. Performed as a cruise ship singer before finding fame 1989 playing Lindsey Corkhill in soap opera Brookside until 2003. This is arguably her best known role but has been a celebrity guest / contestant on many TV shows (Blankety Blank, Strictly Come Dancing, Big Brother for Comic Relief, Loose Women) and several theatrical roles since.
