Ron Thompson

American blues guitarist. Born 5 July 1953 in Oakland, CA. Died 15 February 2020. Recordings have been released around the world as being performed by the late blues guitarist Magic Sam. They are in fact a batch of recordings made in the 70’s by ace west coast guitarist Ron Thompson who for many years was guitarist in the band of John Lee Hooker.
