American songwriter and arranger. ASCAP IPI #: 5223534. Born March 14, 1898 in St. Paul, Minnesota, USA, Died January 1976. Mostly known as a writer of lyrics for cowboy movies and for the lyrics for Spike Jones' 1945 version of Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker Suite" arranged by Country Washburne.
