American trombonist, arranger, producer and conductor, born November 29, 1939 in Johnsonburg, Pennsylvania. Meco loved anagrams and for years he cryptically rearranged the spellings of names of people in his orchestras for album credits, and of his own name too. Meco died on May 26, 2023, aged 83.
