Zaki Ibrahim

South African-Canadian singer and songwriter, born June 4th in British Columbia, Canada to South African father and anEnglish mother, Zaki grew up in Canada, South Africa, the United Kingdom, France and Lebanon at different stages of her life. Her style of music is a blend of soul, R&B and jazz music. Her father Zane Ibrahim was a prominent radio broadcaster and one of the founders of influential community radio station Bush Radio. Currently based in Cape Town, South Africa, she released her debut album Shö (Iqra in Orange) in 2006.
