Robert E. Brown

Ethnomusicologist who developed world music programs at Wesleyan University and California Institute of the Arts and contributed to the opening of Berkeley's Center for World Music. Worked with Nonesuch Records Inc. Explorer. Born in Utica, NY, on April 18, 1927; died at home in La Mesa, CA on November 29, 2005.
