Lawrence R. Reed

Credited for designing the front sleeve of Show No Mercy. Born in 1943. Started painting in the third grade. Served in the U.S. Marines (5th Mar 1st Mar Div.) from 1959-1963. His father changed their name from Rydzewski to Reed during WWII. His son, Kevin, who was part of Slayer's 'crew' at the time, posed for the legs of the beast on the "Show No Mercy" cover. Kerry King owns the original copy. Now resides in Southern California.
