Songwriter, vocalist, pianist, guitarist and harmonica player from Austin (TX, USA), originally from New Hampshire (USA). He founded Okkervil River in 1998 and in 2001 Shearwater, both still existing. Besides those two bands he's also performing solo and is a music critic.
