European new wave / post-punk / dance orientated rock band with Israeli roots. Founded in (1980 or) 1981, disbanded in 1988 "after seven years". There have been reunions since, in 2004, in 2008, in 2012, in 2016 and in 2019, when a new album was released as well. The band was co-founded by Malka Spigel with Samy Birnbach (aka DJ Morpheus) and Berry Sakharof (now one of Israel's biggest and most respected rock stars), who had moved from Tel Aviv, Israel, to Amsterdam in the Netherlands, where they were joined by local drummer Max Franken (the band's only non-Israeli) and guitarist Rami Fortis (notorious in Israel as one of its first punks). The band played their live debut in the Netherlands with Dick Polak on accordion, as musical accompaniment to the Mecano expo at Pictura in Dordrecht on 1982-03-12, where Polak's paintings were exhibited. Polak also co-produced their debut EP and LP together with Marc Hollander, who signed them on his Crammed label. Due to this connection, the band moved to Brussels, Belgium, where they became associated with many luminaries, recording with Tuxedomoon's Peter Principle, Wire's Colin Newman, and John Fryer (This Mortal Coil), sound-tracking ballet by choreographer Pierre Droulers, and having a track (sung by Malka) in Wim Wender's 1987 movie Der Himmel Über Berlin (aka Les Ailes Du Désir, aka Wings Of Desire).
