American DJ, producer, promoter and publisher. In 1959, Bailey, a DJ at KAGT in Anacortes, Washington, co-wrote and produced the Swags "Rockin' Matilda" on his Westwind Records label. In 1960 he was able to promote it to Del-Fi for national release. He also published the song through his Skagit Music Company. In the late 1960s, Bailey became involved with My Sirs, who he renamed the New Yorkers after setting up a sponsorship deal with Chrysler; and with another group, renamed the Fury Four.
