Tim-Erik Winzer (b. 1978) is a German violist who plays both modern and historic instruments. He grew up in Potsdam and started learning violin at the age of six, switching to viola ten years later. Winzer studied at Hochschule Für Musik "Hanns Eisler" Berlin with Erich Krüger. As a member of Abraxas String Quartet in the mid-2000s, Tim-Erik had been collaborating with Hariolf Schlichtig, Thomas Kakuska and other prominent viola players. Since 2009, Tim-Erik Winzer is a solo violist of Ensemble Resonanz.
