Musician, visual artist and photographer in Texas. Chapa has been the drummer in a number of hardcore/metal bands throughout Texas, including an early lineup of Angkor Wat in 1986, The Hershey Squirts from 1988 to 1990, Narcissistic Freds in 1995, Festus in 1996, Action Jackson in 1997, Sluggard from 2004 to 2006, More Fire from 2006 to 2007, and Mala Suerte from 2013 to 2014. From 1998 to 2003 he composed big beat electronic music, and performed as DJ C-Chops using acoustic percussion, drum machines, synths and samplers. And as of 2017 he is currently writing and recording music for his psychedelic/space rock band The Electric Love Buzz.
