Born November 2, 1941 in Dagenham, UK. Father of Karen Poole and Shelly Poole.
He was the first lead singer of The Tremeloes. He left The Tremeloes in 1966 to start a solo career after a few hits. Later he started a record company: Outlook Records. Then he started The Corporation (also known as The Travelling Wrinklies). Further he did a lot of other music writing for several artists. In 2005 he did a reunion concert with The Tremeloes.
