Herb Alpert

American trumpeter, vocalist, composer, band leader and producer. Married to Lani Hall (1973), father of (had with Sharon Mae Lubin). Co-founder of A&M Records with partner Jerry Moss in 1962. Inducted into Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 2006 (Lifetime Achievement). Born March 31, 1935, Los Angeles, California Note: For "Rise" or songs that sample it, songwriting credit R.
