Swedish musician, songwriter and producer, born 13 November 1982, from Jönköping. He started his career in 1997 in the band The Penht, which a few years later was a connection to the British band Supergrass and got a record contract with EMI. He then played in the band The Lips with, among others, Daniel Karlsson. Erik Anjou was a member of the dance band Highlights and as a musician (guitarist) has participated in Melodifestivalen (2010, 2011 and 2012) with The Moniker (Daniel Karlsson) as well as in several TV programs and record productions and as a songwriter has written songs for other artists, among others, he wrote "Wake up World" which is the official song for the earthquake victims in Haiti in 2010, a song he also produced. Anjou was also the producer for Highlights & MiSt's entry in Melodifestivalen 2010. Erik Anjou has also written songs in national selections for the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 (Latvia) and Malta (2015). In 2015, Anjou participated as a songwriter, musician and producer on Conchita Wurst's album "Conchita" with the songs "Put that fire out" and "The other side of me".
