Seeing Means More was a five-piece screamo band from Orinda, California. They formed in 2002, while the members were in high school; playing a more traditional form of screamo at shows around the Bay Area. In early 2003, the bassist (Eric) and keyboardist (Kyle) left, and the band broke up.
They reformed in the Summer of 2003 after adding a new bassist (Yuvi) and a second guitarist (Henry), and began writing new material which explored the boundaries of screamo; with their sound gaining some metalcore influence. From the Fall of 2003 to the Fall of 2005, they recorded seven new songs, two of which appeared on a tour demo CDr. In 2006, they released a split 7" with fellow California screamo act Efra, followed by a solo 12" EP.
Shortly afterwards, in the Summer of 2006, the band broke up; playing their last show on July 9th, 2006 in Oakland with Loma Prieta and Toru Okada. Some members later went on to form Ghost Spirit.
