Paris-based photography agency / archive, founded in 1877. The agency was specialised in reproduction of paintings, often used as illustration of classical music releases.
The agency and its collection was bought out by French publisher Larousse in 1953; Lauros-Giraudon is possibly the successor of Giraudon after the buyout or merge with another photography collection.
