Swedish singer, musician, author and teacher who has lived in Järvsö, Hälsingland since 1960, born 6 February 1935 in Älvros, Härjedalen.
She came to prominence after appearing in Hylands hörna on 3 October 1962. One of her more famous songs is "Ta en tablett".
In 2011, Bruce received the culture prize - Flurenpriset. In 2008, she was awarded the Ljusdal Municipality Cultural Scholarship with the following motivation: "As a teacher, troubadour, author, writer, debater, idea generator, playwright and actor, she has developed, inspired and enriched people and cultural life in the Hälsinge region for half a century with inexhaustible creativity".
