Daniel Lipton

French-American conductor, born in Paris, grew up in New York. Born 1940 in Paris, France. Died February 18, 2025 at the age of 84. Lipton studied in New York, Siena & Paris. Symphony orchestras of Denver/Colorado, Bologna, Florence, Zürich, Bogota, Houston, Hamiton (Ontario), Munich.(Bayrische Staatsoper). In the 1990-ies Anhaltisches Theater Dessau / Anhaltische Philharmonie Dessau (music director); opera director in Dessau at this time: Johannes Felsenstein.
