Born on 15 November 1941 in Little Hanford, Dorset, English bassist, songwriter, vocalist, and record producer, best known for his work with folk-rock band Steeleye Span. He has released four solo albums between 1996 and 2018. Kemp lives in Carlisle, Cumbria. Married to Maddy Prior (divorced), father of Rose Kemp and Theresa Kemp.
