황병준 (Hwang Byeong-joon)
Byeong Joon Hwang (Hangul: 황병준) is a South Korean recording and mastering engineer who has worked both in the US and South Korea. He is specialized in location recording (stereo and surround sound) of classical, jazz, Korean traditional and contemporary music. He has a long history with Soundmirror, going back to 1999 when he joined the staff of the US studio. In May 2000, with John Newton's approval, he established Soundmirror Korea. In 2012, Hwang became the first Korean engineer to win a Grammy Award, for Aldridge: Elmer Gantry.
His name is also Romanized as Byeongjoon Hwang.
