Matt Edwards is a UK producer, DJ, and label owner best known for his globally respected Radio Slave alias, one of the defining names in modern underground house and techno. Active since the early 1990s, he built his reputation through DJing, re-edits and remixes before expanding into a broad body of work under aliases including Matthew E, REKID, Quiet Village and Seadevils. He later founded Rekid in 2004 and REKIDS in 2006, a label that has grown into a key platform for forward-thinking club music and a home for both his own output and artists across the wider electronic spectrum. His company Rekids Ltd. is registered in London, UK. After spending around 15 years working from Berlin, Edwards relocated to Hvar, Croatia, in 2022, where he continues to produce, perform and guide the Rekids imprint.
