Jake Calypso & His Red Hot

Jake Calypso is a French Rockabilly artist with a real Blues & Gospel side. He was born in North of France in 1964 He started to play Rock'n'Roll at 13 with 'the Corals'. Later, 'Teddy Best', 'Hot Chickens', 'Wild Boogie Combo'. After several bands between 1978 & 2009, 'My Baby Rocks’ was the 1st single under the name JAKE CALYPSO & met a great success ! Jake recorded 7 Studio albums, 2 compilations & several Singles & EPs for his 1st own label : Chickens Records, then Rock Paradise Records, Crazy Times Records, Migraine Records, El Dandy Records. He recorded 4 times in the legendary Sun Studio Memphis. One time it was for a special project called 'The Memphis Blues Cream' with musicians from Memphis & tribute to Sun Records artists before ELVIS. In 2023, the Blues took a largest place. He created Jake Calypso Trio & recorded now for his own new label : Around The Shack Records.
