SwedenMUSICA SVECIÆ was formed in 1970 in Stockholm as a chamber orchestra made up of musicians from the orchestras of the Royal Opera, the Stockholm Philharmonic and the Swedish Radio. The ensemble began developing its specialization already from the start, concentrating on a Swedish repertory. It is led by Sven Verde.
