Antonio Tormo

Argentinian folklore singer and composer from Mendoza (18 Sept.1913 - 15 Nov.2003). His golden era took place during the 1940s and 50s, in 1950 he recorded "El Rancho'e la Cambicha", a shellac single which sold 5 million copies, becoming the best-selling single in Argentina. That success also gave local folk music more popularity than ever before.
