Mirjana Irosch

Mirjana Irosch (24 October 1939 in Zagreb, Yugoslavia (today Croatia) - 23 October 2024 in Vienna) was an Austrian soprano both in opera and operetta. Having joimed the Vienna Volksoper in 1967, she remained closely connected to her home-theatre throughout her entire career while also appearing with numerous other companies over the years. She was famous for her outstanding interpretation of operetta divas, but also sang a great number of opera characters. She was married to Harald Serafin (divorced).
