Leonardo Strano born in Riposto in 1938
As a boy he learned to strum the guitar and sing the stories, following his father in his wanderings through the Sicilian towns.
After his military service he definitively embraced the story-teller activity, trying to write something of his own.
However, he does not seem to be very attached to his work.
For him making the storyteller seems to be a labor he would do without and the contact with the demanding public discourages him and becomes tense, rude, I would say hostile. However, in him there is a quite strong artistic charge, especially when he is competing in competitive tests.
In fact, it has enjoyed success and victories in the various festivals of storytellers in which it has participated for several years.
