English comedian, actor and writer Born: 17th July 1940 Buxton, Derbyshire, England Died: 12th April 2020 Cookham, Berkshire, England Best known as part of comedy act The Goodies and as a panelist in radio show I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue on Radio 4 from its launch in 1972 to his death. Appointed OBE in 2011.
