Ramesh

Ramesh (Azar Mohebi, born 1946 in Teheran, died in Los Angeles November 28, 2020) was one of the most popular and iconic singers of Iran in the 1960s and 70s. She was classically trained and started with traditional, folk Persian songs in mid 60s on Iranian national radio. She had an incredible range and style and went to become the queen of pop, funk and psych during the 70s. She’s known to have the most recordings of any female singer in Iran with over 400+ songs including her duets and film songs.
