Randy Brecker

Grammy Award winning American jazz trumpet and flugelhorn player, composer and producer, based in New York City, USA Born 27 November 1945 in Cheltenham, Pennsylvania, USA Previously married to jazz/classical pianist Eliane Elias in the 1980s, with whom they have a daughter Amanda Elias Brecker (a jazz vocalist herself); they divorced in 1990. In 2010 he married saxophonist Ada Rovatti/Ada Brecker. He collaborated musically with both of his wives. His brother, the late Michael Brecker, was also a jazz saxophonist. Co-founder (with his brother Michael) of the jazz club Seventh Avenue South, New York City, and the production company Brecker Productions.
