American flautist, composer, & lecturer. Born on February 8th, 1941 in Freeport, New York, US died on August 28, 2002 in Bangor, Maine, USA. Not to be confused with British studio singer Kay Garner. She is known for her work, as an original member, of the groundbreaking "Womyn's Music" group, Lavender Jane, as well as her solo releases. She was also at the forefront of the healing and mediation movement of the 1970s and pioneered the field of sound healing with her first album, Moon Circles. She had performed in over 4 contienents, given lectures at top universities, & lead workshops
