Martijn De Laat

Martijn de Laat (1984, Tilburg, The Netherlands) is one of Europe’s most prominent jazz/lead-trumpeters and session musicians. Trumpetplayer with the prestigious NDR Big Band in Hamburg. For many years he was a member of the Metropole Orchestra(2014-2025 and The SWR Bigband(2009-2014) Thoughout the years he has been working in the studio and on the stage with legends such as James Last, Al Jarreau, TV show Beste Zangers, Ivan Lins, Benjamin Herman, Trijntje Oosterhuis, Guus Meeuwis, Christian McBride, Quincy Jones, Jacob Collier, Marcel Fisser Band, Nueva Manteca and tours and shows such as Night of the Proms, Vrienden van Amstel LIVE.
