Finnish music group formed originally in 1925 by Martti Jäppilä, Ville Alanko and Mauno Jonsson. Influenced by American jazz music, the founders blended it with traditional Finnish schlager music. In the 1930s, Dallapé was the most popular music group in Finland. Over the decades, the lineup has changed numerous times, and the band has had over 100 members throughout its history. The band's musical style has varied slightly over the years, but remains firmly rooted in schlager. In 2025, Dallapé celebrated its 100th anniversary. It is the oldest active pop music group in Europe.
