Rapper, born 1986 in Düsseldorf, Federal Republic of Germany. Since 2001 he has been performing with partner Tai Phun. Co-founded the left-wing "HipHop-Partisan" network in 2003, which he left two years later. In 2005, he co-founded the battle rap group L'Avantgarde as well as the rap network Anti Alles Aktion, which dissolved in 2009 and transformed into Antilopen Gang. Koljah was also a member (under the alias Johnny Volldepp) of Caught In The Crack, a group aimed at parodying the clichés of gangsta rap.
Koljah's music and lyrics are influenced by the battle rap of the early 2000's Berlin hip hop scene as well as by his own past in the anti-fascist movement.
