Toby Twining

Born 1958, grew up in Oklahoma, New York and Texas. His primary teachers were Helen Haupt, in piano, at the University of Houston, and Ben Johnston, in composition, at the University of Illinois. In 1989 he founded Mouth Music, which debuted in Seoul, Korea; three years later he founded Toby Twining Music, which made its European debut at De Ijsbreker in Amsterdam.
